Let me get this straight: there are people in this world that eat vegetables...without Mrs. Dash? That sounds...horrible. No wonder so much of the world doesn't like us - their vegetables taste bad, and they know ours are amazing.

Understandable. Some people were torn on the re-brand effort, but in the end most of the community feels it was the right decision. There are hundreds of pages of discussion about it all so I wont really get into that.

Also which imagery you referring too? I see the new Dash logo, and under resources promotional graphics it's all dash. The branding will be similar to darkcoin so I think it is what it is? I don't work for the foundation or anything, just enthusiastic community member. DOn't wanna get off topic though, Would like to see astro succeed here as it means more DASH masternodes operating.

Glad to hear you say that, we weren't actually sure how the DASH community would respond to the project, but we felt we were supporting the coin (err....network, sorry).

We're also hoping this is a fun way to let people have a stake in DASH and learn about the Masternodes at least a little bit through participation

I'm also much more fond of "Dark" than "Dash". I haven't read any of the rebranding argument, but I could see where DASH might be more acceptable to the general public than "Dark".

Any idea when the masternode will fire up>?

Right now there are 465 more MNX to be sold. If it hasn't happened by this weekend, I will have to get in touch with everyone and return the DASH. Unfortunately, I cannot fund the Masternode myself, so this project is reliant upon interest from others.

Just to be clear, I am already heavily invested. I put up 20% of the funds for the node initially, but the other 80% needed to come from other interested parties.

Don't be in too big a hurry to declare the thing a failure and start returning people's coins.

Patience is a virtue

There certainly isn't any rush returning mine, and I might be interested in doing another 50 next week - but I'm too busy the rest of this week and through this weekend to deal with it right now.

I can see people having an issue sending some Dash to some random guy on the internet.

Anyways, that has been the issue some of the people approching me have.
