Such a sorrow to see this one good informational asset going away, really enjoyed the updates about the asset and the approaches you had taken to make gains and value for the asset, at first my investment into this asset was for purely ROI, but after seeing the way you approached obtaining gains and reading your weekly payout reports it became more of a learning experience for me that I have come to enjoy and look forward to reading every weekend, contemplated on things that worked for you and what didn't; gave me much insight in other possibilities for my portfolio as well as I was able to extend my views into other funding ideas.

Sincerely hope that you would continue with this asset/thread more from a teaching tool than for ROI, but I understand how much time this takes away from family and with that I willing to accept whatever options you feel is acceptable as I don't think I could've have payed for such information and teaching tool such as this asset, to me I've already ROI'd from this in many ways!.

Maybe I can keep it limping along until a few good HYIPs come online after the new year. I have a spreadsheet built out that calculates everything for me, so there's really not much to do except check things periodically.

I didn't think that your coin was supposed to be based on HYIPs but rather on the growth prospect. I know just waiting for things can be hard though. I don't find letting a thing sit there and get better boring though. I find it magical that you can put some money into something and just let it sit there and accrue.

Well, the original idea of the coin was to grow in value, but to do that by using HYIPs along with some other areas to help mitigate the losses from the HYIPs. The idea was that we would win more than lose on the HYIPs, and hopefully see some stable growth. I don't know if we got in at the wrong times or what, but we ended up losing more than we won. Carbon7 ended up being the reason we actually made anything, and it helped that we got referral payments from my personal Carbon7 account. In the end, I think that Carbon7 and BTCFlex are the only games we came out ahead in.

It looks like just relying on asset dividends, we can make some regular payouts that aren't all that much lower from before. We made .0133 btc this week, not including anything at Hashnest.

So, for the time being, I'll continue working with the asset. It is kind of fun and interesting, and I can certainly spare an hour a week to manage it. Let's just see how it goes.

If I pay out weekly dividends from coin earnings, then we won't have anything left to grow with, except for the Hashnest earnings. While I figure out the next steps for the coin, I'll go ahead and just do this. In fact, I've already issued a payment for the week.

We'll see how long we can ride it out.

@Daffy, if a transaction stays unconfirmed, does it just go away after a while? I have a payment that I issued on Sunday that is still unconfirmed.

I read a little in the GHX thread about some changes to bitcoin core that requires you to send more btc or something. How much do I need to be sending in order to get everybody paid?

To all - There has been very little worth mentioning to date. Our Assets aren't producing much, and are slowly dropping from paying status. The paying assets we still have are BTCB, GHX, ABC, FRT, and LGS. We also have some S7, S5, and S4 hash out at Hashnest. In all, we earn almost .01btc per week from the coins, and .08btc per week from Hashnest. I have been repurchasing more hash power each week, and paying dividends out of our Asset earnings. I'm going to have to figure out how to pull btc back out of things in order to get back into the HYIPs at the first of the year, but that shouldn't be too big of a deal. We may need a small infusion of funds to kick things back up, too. Even though we're still earning, our btc value has dropped by about 50% (or more, with the decrease in Hashnest values). The only thing that helps is the increase in USD value of btc.

Anyway, that's the short story of what's going on right now. I issued a payment, but it may not be high enough to be able to pay out. We may have to switch to bi-weekly payments.

Don't worry, though. No matter what, I'll keep paying out. If we get to a point where we can't, then I'll keep you posted.

What is the txid? I'll check and see if it replicated to some of the wallets. Usually when that happens there is still a chance that it will confirm.

The amounts look good but the fee are only 1/4 of what is recommended that is the real problem here. So let the tx expire from coinprism and try again but this time with a fee of 0.0004

So, most of the btc that was left in my GIVER wallet has been sent out. It's not much, but it's an extra .025 toward getting you guys to break-even.

It's not much, but I'm actually able to do a small payment this week!

We all know how rough it's been with the mining assets. Until GHX becomes profitable again, we're going to suffer along with everyone else. I had increased our holdings of GHX over the winter in order to continue earning some mining income, but they just don't have the liquidity that I need right now in order to get us some extra BTC so we can start back into the HYIPs.

Anyway, I was able to scrounge a little up and put it into Poker Automatics a few weeks ago. Actually, it's bene about a month, since I just renewed our deposit. We have .1 BTC in there, of which I was able to cash out a 10% return last week. That's where this payout came from.

We've also continued to make a little from BTCB, but that doesn't bring in much. I believe the ColoredCoin.io assets should pay this weekend, so that may help us have something to pay out next week. We'll just have to see how things go.

In an effort to add another stream to our income, I purchased enough QTL to be able to do some trading with the Quatloo bot. I have been playing around with it for a week or two, and haven't really gotten very far with it. I started out on 2 exchanges with .01 BTC each from my personal stash, and let it go. With such a small amount to work with, it's taking a while for things to grow. I think that over time, however, I should be able to build it up a little at a time and eventually come up with a little extra BTC to add to our returns. We'll just have to see how that goes. It may be one of those things where I just need to throw a little more money at it in order to really see any results. I think the exchange arbitrage may also be a better way to earn with it, but I need to get some more QTL in order to be able to unlock that feature.

Hmm, although I've missed the deadline for purchasing GROW, so my opinion probably counts for nothing - but what about taking a punt on Havelock Investments's B.MINE BitCoin mining difficulty fund, if/when it goes back on sale?

I'm unsure of when the next sales round of it is (and the URL above is now seemingly non-functional) - but I've had really good, stable returns from it, as part of payouts from the SPECULATE CounterParty asset, and from buying a small quantity of it, before the end game was reached, sometime during the middle of last month.

I'm not affiliated with them, but they seem fairly legitimate, so far. (I've managed to withdraw my funds from them; and payouts always came at a predictable, daily cadence).
