What pool do you use for Mining and why specify the coin. Estimated payouts help the next guy out.

SHA256 - I usually shift between westhash/nicehash for BTC mining( nice/west when payouts are equal to or more then BTC payouts are good. I am currently giving Antpool a shot. I have tried Bitcoin affiliate network. If they fix the fact that payouts take forever (1 week waiting for payouts at times and that is after blocks are found) I probably would consistently use them. I have used BTC guild and I am not very fond of them. The payouts are there just seem low. I would like to use the GH pool for bitcoin mining but there would need to be at least 2PH for it to work.

Mining at Antpool, f2pool, Slush and on NiceHash if the price is above 0.0110 / TH/s. GH has a couple of rigs pointed at NH but they wont hash there unless it meets that price. If the price isn't met those rigs are mining on f2.

i personally mine at F2Pool only currently. althought the scoring idea is cool at slush pool (a 10 min block when your hashing 30+TH/s is super yummy) , a 10 HOUR block will make you cry haha. so i use F2pool which of course uses PPS, so u get a more stable payout (4% fee at f2pool)

How did you get the p= statement working on Nice/West . My miners seem to have a problem with it. I have S5's - S4 - S3. Thanks

I just put it into the password field like

p=0.0120

..nothing else since d=x to set difficulty sucks big time. for large rigs anyway. It works fine for our S5 pairs at 2048 base difficulty but doesn't work well for BigMama for example. You also want to make sure that you got a backup pool configured (obviously).

That's easy. Just make your primary pool WestHash and use p=price as password and set Ant or f2 as your backup pool. You might also want to set difficulty in the password parameter which is d=starting difficulty. So your password could look like this for example (depending on your rig).

p=0.0120;d=1024

Think I might have fixed the pool switching on my S4 with the Nicehash firmware for the S4. The problem was the p= switch was not forcing the pool switch on the S4 with the Bitmain firmware but does with the Nicehash.

Hmm what pool are you looking to mine? NH usually points fine if you get your credentials right. I only had pool problems very very seldom and usually on a coin launch pool that has been thrown up quickly. I never had any problems with the more established pools (BTC or Alts).

BetaRigs is okay too but in general the rate is above what you would mine at 100% pool luck. So NH is the better choice at the moment unless you can snatch a cheap rig coming out of it's last lease for low.

i <3 Beta rigs, always renting there, mostly for altcoins for staking usually pools can be tricky, F2Pool has the PPS which is nice steady pay, but EEOBOT offers insta payouts and easy altcoin switching, but theres Antpool which can be quite profitable when the luck is good, same as classic Slush Pool. i suggest trying each, get low power rentals for longer times to really see some good averages and what works for YOU (start around 180 GH/s, for 3 days can be like 750,000 shatoshi, not much it took me a week bouncing around there wasting paid time before i settled u will find your fav

Yepp, agree. The difference between a good day on Ant and a good day on Slush is that you get more out of the block for your power if you happen to be on Slush when the luck swings around. Usually you'll find 15-20 PH on Slush on a good day vs 55-60 PH on Ant. GHfarm is hashing there as we speak and the rewards haven't been to shady.
