It would seem that the server hosting the cloud is having a little lie down - due to security - its not part of the cluster that the forums, etc lives on, so I am in the process of seeing what we can do to get things back and happy again.

In the meantime, as your salt is stored on your PC - nothing has been lost (apart from maybe some sanity)

And one more thing. The SALT thing was a brilliant idea. It really takes some of the weight off the old shoulders in an environment where opening an account that might get shut down at any moment is a reality. There also seems to be some discrepancy between coinprisms estimate of my wallet and the reading on GHcloud of my coinprism wallet. That might be API related I guess..

Hi all

I apologize for not posting an update earlier.

The cloud server was under maintenance for a short period of time last night. In addition a new dedicated IP address has just been assigned to the cloud server right now which is currently pending DNS update.

All of the above is part of preparing the cloud for SSL.

I'll post another update once the domain has migrated to the new IP.

Ok thanks @keymaster. I just wondered. I was able to view it from Firefox on my remote AWS but not the computer I am on. Thanks for the update

Unfortunately it's hard to schedule a change like this. We expected the new IP to get assigned yesterday during the maintenance instead of receiving a quick email just a little while ago informing us that the IP has been assigned. Since all sub-domains derive from the root host it's possible that we might have a short service outage while the IP propagates across the DNS servers.

The new IP has propagated across the DNS servers and the cloud and all other linked services are back online.
