In case you missed it….
One of the reasons why GetHashing exists is to encourage the discussion about Bitcoin and the greater crypto currency ecosystem. GetHashing has an active forum that is a great place to learn more about cryptocurrency, bitcoin mining, and the future of currency. To help people find discussions they might have missed since the last time they were on the site, we’ve decided to provide this little “in case you missed” it series of blog posts. We will try and highlight some discussions that will be of interest to anyone who follows Bitcoin news.
It turns out the European Commission is pushing forward with a measure that would criminalize the use of Bitcoin and prepaid credit cards. What are your thoughts? Is this an over-reaching statement put forward by the European Commission without full understanding of what Bitcoin is and what purpose it might server in the future? And just two days earlier the Commonwealth of Nations pushed out a report the is pushing for the legalization of Bitcoin.
It is encouraging to see cohesive & coordinated approach put forth in #virtualcurrencies report by #Commonwealth - Sandra Sargent @WorldBank

You also don’t want to miss the extremely in-depth discussions taking place on the GetHashing forum on whether or not the Bitcoin “experiment” has failed.
Blockchain.info has also unveiled a new HD Bitcoin wallet this week and members of the forum seem to like dragging up old forum threads like a discussion between the KeepKey hardware wallet and the Trezor hardware wallet. Right now the latest post says forget KeepKey and stick with Trezor. What do you think?
Join us over on the GetHashing forums to contribute or continue any of these discussions or to start your own. See you there.
